About the project

Carbon Credit Certification.

The main objective of this credit is the reduction of carbon dioxide emissions and other greenhouse gases. The reduction happens when companies start to become aware and seek alternatives and strategies to emit less pollutants. In Ceará, carbon credits have been an important source of financing for conservation and sustainable development projects, contributing to the preservation of the region's natural resources and the well-being of local communities.

Renewable energy

The solar energy project is in the process of being implemented in the Solar Energy modality for public servants, where they can have their solar panels in their homes, with a specialized system for this public. The benefit of investing in renewable energies, you will be contributing to the reduction of the environmental impact. While other energies generate negative impacts on the environment, solar generation is a clean and sustainable source, making it a much safer and more viable investment.

Social Forests

Social Forests is an environmental segment project carried out in partnership format between Vale do Carbono, City Halls and Environment Secretariats in the implementation of Social Forests of exotic noble species, adapted to the Biome. With this, the project meets the social demand, generating employment and professional qualification, in addition to training for students; meets the economic; as well as technological where the project relies on the Blockchain system for tracking and execution; and in the environmental and sustainable sector, it becomes an alternative to avoid the deforestation of native areas, as well as the forest absorbs a lot of CO2, resulting in the production of carbon credits.

To make this possible, several projects were created in the municipality of Nova Russas-CE, an innovation hub in the environmental and technological sector, where it first appeared to demystify the qualities of the agro sector in the Northeast, considered unproductive and without economic values.

Currently, with the effort of our work, they are showing results, because in the absence of productive areas, many of them without adequate conditions for use and the high demand for the production of food and forest products for the internal and external population, the Northeast sees itself in the mission to attend the market, through research and application of knowledge, today becomes an alternative in exponential production growth.

This happened through reforestation projects belonging to the Social Forests Project, implanted in the semi-arid region with a species of African Mahogany (khaya senegalensis), a species adapted to the adversities of the Caatinga Biome. There are currently mahogany forest plantations in 83 municipalities in the state of Ceará, totaling around 400,000 trees planted, as well as in several municipalities in Piauí and Rio Grande do Norte and some in Paraíba and Pernambuco. The Municipalities of Nova Russas, Várzea Alegre, Viçosa do Ceará, Morada Nova, Aiuaba, Ararendá and São Luís do Curu are the Municipalities that started several plantings and served as a reference for plantings in the region.

In addition to the Social Forests Project, there are Renewable Energy Projects that favor the use of clean energy with high performance efficiency and long life, thus allowing the environment not to be devastated in the implementation of power plants in the conventional and polluting model. .
